The books are marked. The last child has been collected. You've found the missing jersey, answered the final message and made it home.

Now make the coffee.

Preferably cold, because it's summer in South Africa!

Class Dismissed brings together an 850ml Coffee Plunger, a 600ml Andy Cartwright Enamel Mug and Simply Bee Raw Creamed Honey — plus a Creamed Honey Iced Coffee recipe.

Shoes off. Ice in the mug. Nobody is about to ask if they can go to the bathroom.

Creamed Honey Iced Coffee

You'll need:

• 2 heaped tbsp ground coffee
• 150ml hot water
• 1–2 tsp creamed honey
• Tiny pinch of salt
• 150–200ml cold milk
• Plenty of ice

Brew the coffee in your plunger for about 4 minutes, then plunge.

Stir the creamed honey and tiny pinch of salt into the coffee while it's still hot.

Why the salt? A tiny pinch softens coffee's bitterness and brings out its natural flavour. It also makes the creamed honey taste sweeter without adding more honey.

Fill your 600ml Andy Cartwright enamel mug generously with ice, add the cold milk and pour over the honeyed coffee.

Give it a stir. Find somewhere shady.
