For the Moms with Fur Kids - Because we are lucky to have them

Mother’s Day isn’t just for moms with human kids.

It’s also for the ones who wake up early for feeds.
Who know the sound of hooves, paws, or claws before the alarm.
Who carry treats in their pockets and teff in their cars.

The ones who talk — and get answered with a nicker,
a tail wag,
a chirp,
or a slow blink.

Who share their space with muddy boots,
shedding coats,
feed buckets,
and the occasional chewed something.

There are routines built around them.
Feeding times remembered.
Stables checked.
Gates closed.
Water topped up.

The house — or the yard — feels different when they’re not there.

It’s a different kind of parenting.
But the love is just as real.
Just as constant.
Just as part of the everyday.

So to the moms with fur kids —
the horse moms, the donkey lovers,
the dog moms, cat moms, bird moms,
and everyone in between —

Happy Mother’s Day.
